OECM Supplier Partner Potential – BrainBox AI

Hi everyone:

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to reach out on another energy saving potential opportunity. Over the past several months we have been in conversations with a company called BrainBox AI, a company that specializes in autonomous HVAC technology. Brainbox AI have recently developed two proposals for Lambton College which are represented by our two electrical utility meters at our South (Main) Building campus located at 1457 London Road, Sarnia, ON N7S 6K4. Each proposal provided an annual cost/savings structure that were calculated based on the number of HVAC systems we have at this particular building.

The results suggest that the initial install, onboarding fees and annual subscriptions have a simple payback period in under half a year and an annual return on investment of over 100%. These savings are generated by providing future weather forecasting, allowing our HVAC systems to react ahead of schedule that will optimize our HVAC systems and operations and decrease utility costs.

After my meeting with the OECM today, they have asked for me to reach out to the OCFMA Energy Subcommittee group to see if this group can support BrainBox AI in the RFP process, allowing BrainBox AI to be an OECM elected supplier partner for the Ontario Institutional sector under HVAC technology.

Would this committee be interested to support this organization as a collective effort?

I’ll remember to bring this up at the next OCFMA Energy Subcommittee meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, December 8.
